FactSet Appoints Marcel Prins to Board

FactSet named Marcel Prins to its Board of Directors, adding a veteran with more than 25 years across operations, technology and asset management.

Prins most recently served from 2022 to 2026 as chief operating officer and a director of Robeco, where he led a multi-year technology strategy, introduced a modern data platform, strengthened data governance and increased resiliency. Before that, he spent more than a decade at APG N.V., first as chief operating officer and director of APG Asset Management and later as chief digital officer of APG Group.

His earlier roles included positions at ABN AMRO Group, Fortis Bank and DCE International. He also currently serves on the boards of ABN Amro Clearing Bank and Mondu Financial Services.

FactSet said the appointment comes as the company continues to expand its financial data and AI capabilities. The company serves more than 9,100 global clients and over 247,000 individual users.
