Kontoor Brands Adds Two New Directors

Kontoor Brands expanded its board from seven to nine directors and appointed two new members effective immediately: Jamie Caulfield and Michael Skipworth.

Caulfield, 67, most recently served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of PepsiCo, where he spent more than 30 years in senior finance roles. His background includes serving as senior vice president and CFO of PepsiCo Foods North America and senior vice president of investor relations from 2011 to 2019. At Kontoor, he will sit on the audit committee and the nominating and governance committee.

Skipworth, 49, is president and chief executive officer of Wingstop, which operates and franchises more than 3,000 restaurants worldwide. Before becoming CEO, he was president and chief operating officer at Wingstop. He also held finance, accounting and operations roles at Cardinal Logistics Holdings and KPMG. He will join Kontoor’s audit committee and talent and compensation committee.

The appointments lift the board to nine directors from seven. Kontoor’s portfolio includes Wrangler, Lee and Helly Hansen. The market has reacted to these announcements by moving the company's shares -1.95% to a price of $64.41. Check out the company's full 8-K submission here.
