Lumen Technologies said its board approved moving the company’s common stock and two Qwest-issued note listings from the New York Stock Exchange to Nasdaq.
The company expects the securities to stop trading on the NYSE at the close of markets on Oct. 5, 2026, and to begin trading on Nasdaq at the opening on Oct. 6, 2026. Lumen said the common stock will keep the ticker LUMN, while the Qwest notes will continue under CTGG and CTHH.
The transfer covers Lumen’s common shares and the 6.500% notes due 2051 and 6.750% notes due 2052. The company said it has filed applications to list the securities on Nasdaq and plans to file a Form 25 to delist them from the NYSE.
Chief Executive Kate Johnson said the move is intended to align the listing with Lumen’s shift toward an enterprise networking company focused on AI. Lumen said the change is not expected to affect operations, financial condition, or reporting obligations, and shareholders do not need to take any action. As a result of these announcements, the company's shares have moved -4.41% on the market, and are now trading at a price of $5.86. For more information, read the company's full 8-K submission here.
