News Corporation said it had repurchased 12,359,711 shares before the previous day and another 62,323 shares on the previous day, bringing the total consideration paid under its 2025 repurchase program to US$325.2 million.
The company’s buyback covers up to US$1 billion of its Nasdaq-listed Class A and Class B common stock, leaving about US$496.3 million of capacity already used, based on total consideration paid to date.
On the latest reported day, News Corp paid US$1.77 million for the 62,323 shares it bought back. The highest price paid in the program so far was US$31.58 a share, reached on 27 August 2026, while the lowest was US$22.20 a share on 9 February 2026.
The company said the program is intended to enhance shareholder value and is being carried out through Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC. No ASX-listed CDIs are included in the repurchases.
