Talos Energy added Barbara J. Faulkenberry, a retired U.S. Air Force major general, to its board of directors effective Oct. 1, 2026, expanding the board to seven directors from six.
Faulkenberry brings 32 years of military experience and retired in 2014 after her final role as vice commander overseeing rapid global mobility operations for 37,000 personnel and 1,100 aircraft. Her background includes six years on the board of Callon Petroleum, where she served on the audit and compensation committees and chaired the nominating and ESG committee.
She also served on the boards of Target Hospitality and USA Truck, where she chaired the technology and strategy and risk committees. Talos said the appointment adds leadership experience in global operations, logistics, strategy and risk management to the board.
