News Corp Spends $498.9M on Stock Buyback

News Corp said it has spent about US$498.9 million buying back stock under its 2025 Repurchase Program, leaving roughly US$501.1 million still available from the US$1 billion authorization.

In the latest daily update, the company reported buying 62,323 shares on the previous day for US$1.77 million, compared with 12.42 million shares bought earlier in the program for US$325.2 million.

The shares repurchased are part of the company’s Nasdaq-listed Class A and Class B common stock. News Corp said the program covers those two share classes only, and no ASX-listed CDIs are being repurchased.

The company’s filing shows 359.1 million shares on issue in the buyback class. It also listed the highest price paid under the program at US$31.58 on 27 August 2026, and the lowest price paid at US$22.20 on 9 February 2026.
