Graphic Packaging Names Aditya Gandhi as Chief Accounting Officer

Graphic Packaging Holding Co. has appointed Aditya Gandhi as vice president and chief accounting officer, effective Sept. 28, replacing the prior accounting leadership with a finance executive who brings more than 20 years of public-company and packaging-industry experience.

Gandhi joins from AptarGroup, where he served as chief accounting officer. Before that, he spent nearly five years at Sonoco Products, including nearly four years as chief accounting officer, and earlier held senior roles at WestRock, including segment controller for its consumer packaging business.

His background also includes a senior technical accounting role at GE and more than a decade at Deloitte, where he worked in the firm’s National Office and in London on complex accounting matters under U.S. GAAP and IFRS.

Graphic Packaging said Gandhi will report to Interim Chief Financial Officer Charles D. Lischer. Chief Executive Officer Robbert Rietbroek said Gandhi’s experience in accounting advisory services, finance, and chief accounting officer roles in the paper and packaging industry will support the company’s efforts to strengthen operations and create long-term value.

Gandhi holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Mumbai and is a certified public accountant. Today the company's shares have moved 0.43% to a price of $9.38. If you want to know more, read the company's complete 8-K report here.
