Leidos has expanded its board to 11 members with the appointment of AT&T Chief Operating Officer Jeff McElfresh, effective Oct. 1.
McElfresh brings more than 30 years at AT&T, where he currently oversees the company’s $250 billion nationwide advanced connectivity infrastructure transformation. His background also includes leadership roles in cybersecurity, data management and labs, along with earlier work as a defense tech engineer on aerospace and maritime projects.
The company said McElfresh will join its corporate governance and ethics committee and its technology and information security committee.
Leidos said the appointment comes as it advances its Northstar 2030 growth strategy. The company reported about $17.2 billion in annual revenue for the fiscal year ended Jan. 2, 2026, and said it employs 50,000 people globally.
