Roper Technologies Appoints Abhijit Dubey to Board

Roper Technologies added Abhijit Dubey to its board of directors on Oct. 1, expanding the board with an executive who currently leads NTT DATA as chief executive officer and chief AI officer.

Dubey brings more than 20 years at McKinsey & Company, where he was a senior partner and helped lead the firm’s global technology, media and telecommunications practice. He also founded McKinsey’s cloud computing practice. Before joining NTT DATA, he served as chairman and global CEO of NTT Ltd.

For Roper, the appointment adds a director with direct experience running a large technology business through an AI-led transformation. Neil Hunn, Roper’s president and CEO, said Dubey’s background in enterprise software, AI adoption and scaling technology businesses globally would support the company as it grows its portfolio of vertical market software and technology-enabled product businesses.

Board Chair Amy Woods Brinkley said Dubey’s mix of operating experience and AI leadership would support governance as Roper executes its long-term strategy.

Roper did not announce any change to financial guidance, operating results or capital allocation in the release. Following these announcements, the company's shares moved -0.01%, and are now trading at a price of $349.41. If you want to know more, read the company's complete 8-K report here.
