Celcuity Appoints David W. Gryska to Board

Celcuity named David W. Gryska to its board of directors as the company moves into commercial-stage operations following its first FDA approval for Revtorpyk.

Gryska brings more than 35 years of life sciences finance and strategy experience. His background includes serving as executive vice president and chief financial officer at Incyte and as senior vice president and chief financial officer at Celgene. He also held CFO roles at Scios and spent part of his career as a partner at Ernst & Young.

He currently sits on the board of Definium Therapeutics and previously served more than 15 years on Seagen’s board, along with board roles at Forte Biosciences, Aerie Pharmaceuticals and GW Pharmaceuticals.

The appointment comes as Celcuity prepares for the launch of Revtorpyk, its first FDA-approved product, in advanced breast cancer.
