UMH Properties Declares Dividend for Common and Preferred Stock

UMH Properties declared a quarterly common dividend of $0.225 per share, matching an annualized rate of $0.90 per share. The dividend will be paid December 15, 2026, to shareholders of record as of November 16, 2026.

The company also declared a quarterly dividend of $0.3984375 per share on its 6.375% Series D cumulative redeemable preferred stock for the period from September 1, 2026, through November 30, 2026. That preferred dividend is payable December 15, 2026, to shareholders of record on November 16, 2026, and works out to an annual rate of $1.59375 per share.

UMH said it owns and operates 145 manufactured home communities, with about 27,100 developed homesites. Of those, 11,200 contain rental homes. The portfolio also includes more than 1,000 self-storage units.

The company’s communities are spread across New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Alabama, South Carolina, Florida and Georgia. Among them are two Florida communities with 363 sites and one Pennsylvania community with 113 sites that UMH operates through joint ventures with Nuveen Real Estate.
