Verra Mobility has named Jon Newhard as its next president and chief executive officer, effective Nov. 1, 2026, replacing interim CEO Jon Keyser, who has held the role since June 2026.
Newhard arrives from Yunex Traffic GmbH, where he most recently served as chief executive officer. His background spans more than two decades in transportation and mobility, including leadership roles at Clinc, Cubic ITS and Advanced Traffic Solutions. He also previously served as chairman of Miovision and sat on the board of Synapse ITS.
The company said Keyser will remain in an advisory role during the transition before departing. The board said the executive search was conducted with support from Spencer Stuart.
The appointment comes after a period of operational change under Keyser, whom the board credited with helping stabilize the business, simplify the organizational structure and advance key operational priorities. Following these announcements, the company's shares moved -3.55%, and are now trading at a price of $2.99. For the full picture, make sure to review VERRA MOBILITY Corp's 8-K report.
