Insmed CFO to Step Down After Raising $4.2B

Insmed said Chief Financial Officer Sara Bonstein will step down on Oct. 30 after nearly seven years, capping a stretch in which the company said it raised more than $4.2 billion in capital.

The company said Bonstein will remain CFO through its third-quarter 2026 earnings release on Oct. 29 and will take part in that call. Insmed has started a search for her successor.

Chief Executive Will Lewis said the company is “well positioned to reach cash flow positivity next year,” pointing to “a clear path toward sustained top-line growth and bottom-line profitability.”

Insmed also reaffirmed its full-year 2026 revenue guidance for its two marketed drugs. It kept Brinsupri sales guidance at $1.25 billion to $1.40 billion and Arikayce revenue guidance at $450 million to $470 million.

That implies combined 2026 product revenue of $1.70 billion to $1.87 billion.

Lewis said Brinsupri and Arikayce are “on track to deliver meaningful revenue this year,” and said growth is expected to continue through the commercial portfolio and pipeline.

The company said its third-quarter 2026 results will be released on Oct. 29, with an investor call set for 8:00 a.m. ET that day. Bonstein is expected to participate in that call before her departure the following day. The market has reacted to these announcements by moving the company's shares 2.33% to a price of $111.12.
