Sterling Infrastructure appointed Katherine Hargis as senior vice president, general counsel, chief compliance officer and corporate secretary, effective Oct. 5, 2026.
Hargis joins from Key Energy Services, where she had been senior vice president, chief administrative officer, general counsel and corporate secretary. In that role, she oversaw legal affairs, corporate governance, enterprise compliance and ethics, and also had responsibility for human capital, cybersecurity and risk management.
She replaces Mark D. Wolf, who had held Sterling’s general counsel, chief compliance officer and corporate secretary roles since August 2020, a tenure of just over six years.
Before Key Energy Services, Hargis held legal leadership posts at U.S. Concrete, including vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. She earned a law degree from Tulane and a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State.
