Digital Realty priced €1 billion of 5.125% guaranteed notes due 2036 at 99.289% of principal.
The notes carry annual interest of 5.125% and will mature on October 9, 2036. The offering is expected to close on October 9, 2026.
The company said it plans to use an amount equal to the net proceeds to finance or refinance, in whole or in part, new and existing projects under its green bond framework, including development and redevelopment projects. Until those proceeds are allocated, the funds may be used to temporarily repay borrowings under the operating partnership’s global revolving credit facilities, acquire properties or businesses, fund development, invest in interest-bearing accounts and short-term securities, support working capital, and cover other general corporate purposes, including possible debt repayment or the redemption, repurchase, repayment or retirement of outstanding equity or debt securities.
