APA Corp. said third-quarter 2026 average realized prices improved across several product lines, with U.S. oil at $87.50 a barrel, U.S. NGLs at $26.00 a barrel and U.S. natural gas at $1.45 per thousand cubic feet. International prices were higher on oil and NGLs, at $98.50 a barrel and $155.00 a barrel, respectively, while international natural gas averaged $5.00 per thousand cubic feet.
The company said Egypt tax barrels averaged 36 mboe/d in the quarter. Dry hole costs were estimated at $25 million before tax, and net gain on oil and gas purchases and sales was estimated at $190 million before tax, including an $8 million realized gain from commodity derivatives.
APA said it repurchased 10.5 million shares during the quarter at an average price of $42.78 each. The estimated weighted-average basic common shares outstanding for the quarter were 348 million.
General and administrative expenses were about $115 million in the quarter, including $56 million of stock-based compensation, which APA said was driven mostly by mark-to-market impacts tied to its share price.
