Henry Schein Appoints New CFO, Shares Drop

Henry Schein is reshaping its finance leadership, naming Emmanuel Caprais as senior vice president and chief financial officer effective Nov. 4, 2026, while Ronald N. South moves into a senior advisory role the same day after 18 years with the company.

Caprais will begin as senior financial advisor on Oct. 12, 2026, before stepping into the CFO role. He arrives from ITT, where he served as chief financial officer from 2020 through May 2026. At ITT, he oversaw financial and capital allocation strategy and supported growth initiatives. His background also includes leadership in financial planning and analysis, investor relations, and segment CFO roles across two operating businesses at ITT, plus earlier finance roles at Magneti Marelli and Valeo.

South has served as Henry Schein’s CFO for the past four years and will remain with the company in an advisory capacity after the transition.

The company also said it expects to add two more leadership positions to the Henry Schein Leadership Team: a chief strategy and transformation officer and a new technology leadership role focused on AI implementation, data, and broader technology needs.

Henry Schein said its 2025 sales reached $13.2 billion, with revenue having grown at a compound annual rate of about 11.0% since it became a public company in 1995. The company operates in 34 countries and territories, serves more than 1 million customers, and employs more than 25,000 team members worldwide. Following these announcements, the company's shares moved -1.39%, and are now trading at a price of $83.66. For the full picture, make sure to review HENRY SCHEIN INC's 8-K report.
