RB Global Inc. Expects Strong 2026 Results

RB Global said it expects full-year 2026 results to land at the high end of the outlook it gave on Aug. 4, with gross transaction value growth still projected at 9% to 11% and adjusted EBITDA expected in a range of $1.495 billion to $1.545 billion.

The company also announced a leadership reshuffle effective immediately:

  • Steve Steinberg was promoted to chief financial officer from senior vice president and head of strategic planning and decision support.
  • Shiv Dutt was promoted to chief digital and strategy officer in a newly created role.
  • Jake Lawson was promoted to president, Heavy Equipment & Transportation North America, also in a newly created role.
  • Sam Wyant was promoted to president, Auto North America and International, another newly created role.

Two executives are departing: Eric Guerin, chief financial officer, and Steve Lewis, chief operating officer.

Steinberg has been with RB Global for more than 10 years and has more than 30 years of experience in finance, accounting, operations, pricing, commercial program management, and strategy. Dutt most recently led Ritchie Bros. Marketplace and will now oversee enterprise technology, digital strategy, and M&A strategy, while continuing to lead product and engineering for the Heavy Equipment & Transportation business. Lawson, with more than 25 years at Ritchie Bros., had most recently been president and head of North America sales. Wyant brings more than 20 years of sales and commercial leadership experience, including senior roles at IAA, Ritchie Bros. and Volvo Construction Equipment.

RB Global said the new structure is designed to give clearer ownership of business unit performance. Steinberg said the company’s priorities include margin expansion, balance sheet flexibility, capital allocation, dividends, stock repurchases, and profitable growth.
