Ollie’s Bargain Outlet Holdings said its board approved a new $500 million share repurchase authorization, lifting total buyback capacity to about $561 million when combined with the company’s existing authorization.
The company said it has returned about $679 million to shareholders through share repurchases since launching the program in 2019. That means the new authorization adds nearly 90% to the company’s current repurchase capacity, taking it from roughly $61 million to $561 million.
Ollie’s also said it operated 686 stores across 36 states as of Aug. 1, 2026. The retailer said the new authorization has no expiration date and can be used through open-market purchases, privately negotiated transactions, 10b5-1 plans, or other permitted methods.
Chief Executive Eric Van der Valk said the company remains focused on opening new stores, building out supply chain capacity, and returning excess capital to shareholders. The market has reacted to these announcements by moving the company's shares 1.3% to a price of $86.44. If you want to know more, read the company's complete 8-K report here.
