New Company Regna AI Launched by Ondas and Palantir

Ondas and Palantir have launched Regna AI, a new standalone company aimed at defense customers that want to own and control both their AI models and their data.

The company is built around open-weight models that are fine-tuned and post-trained on sensitive mission data, then deployed inside customer environments on Palantir AIP. The structure is designed so governments can keep data inside security boundaries rather than sending it to commercial AI providers.

Regna AI is being introduced with Ondas as the anchor customer, giving the company real mission workflows from day one. The launch is tied to a push to reach IL4/5 accreditation in weeks through Palantir FedStart.

The release says the company will serve governments directly, as well as defense contractors building and operating mission systems for them. It also positions Regna AI as a response to the cost of building models from scratch, which the release says can run from hundreds of millions to billions of dollars. The market has reacted to these announcements by moving the company's shares -0.89% to a price of $6.67. For the full picture, make sure to review Ondas's 8-K report.
