Flex said it has completed its acquisition of EPC Power, adding a business it says brings differentiated power conversion and grid-forming technology into its cloud and power infrastructure segment.
The deal expands Flex’s reach across power, cooling and compute as it targets demand tied to AI infrastructure and 800V data center power architectures. EPC Power’s technology has more than 15 GW deployed, according to the release, and is used for grid stabilization and backup power.
Flex said EPC Power will now sit inside its cloud and power infrastructure segment, which the company plans to separate into an independent publicly traded company, Axiom Solutions International, in the first calendar quarter of 2027.
The acquisition gives Flex additional capability in intelligent power conversion for data center and grid applications, with EPC Power’s platform combining hardware, software and controls with U.S.-based engineering and manufacturing. Today the company's shares have moved -5.42% to a price of $110.88. For more information, read the company's full 8-K submission here.
