Gibraltar Industries said it will sell its infrastructure business, D.S. Brown, to Saint-Gobain for $208 million in cash, marking a further move to streamline the company around its building products and structures businesses.
The transaction, announced Oct. 15, is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, pending customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
Chief Executive Bill Bosway said the sale is part of a broader simplification effort and that the proceeds are expected to be used to reduce debt. He said the company expects the deal to be highly tax efficient, allowing more of the gross proceeds to go toward accelerating debt reduction and strengthening the balance sheet heading into 2027.
Gibraltar said it will update its 2026 outlook when it reports third-quarter results later this year. As a result of these announcements, the company's shares have moved -1.13% on the market, and are now trading at a price of $36.68.
