Fox Corporation said Adam Ciongoli will step down as chief legal and policy officer effective Dec. 1 after choosing not to renew his contract. He will remain with the company as a special advisor through June 2028.
Nicholas Trutanich, currently executive vice president and principal deputy general counsel, will take over as general counsel on Dec. 1 and will report to Executive Chair and CEO Lachlan Murdoch. Trutanich has been with Fox for five years, joining in 2021 as chief ethics and compliance officer. In his current role, he leads the company’s litigation and ethics and compliance functions.
Fox also said Kristopher Jones, executive vice president and head of government relations, will begin reporting directly to President and COO John Nallen on Dec. 1.
Murdoch said Ciongoli served Fox for the last three years, while Trutanich’s expanded role reflects the company’s need for legal, litigation and compliance leadership. The market has reacted to these announcements by moving the company's shares 1.75% to a price of $65.27. For more information, read the company's full 8-K submission here.
