Newell Brands Names Guillermo Beade COO

Newell Brands named Guillermo Beade chief operating officer, effective Oct. 26, 2026, adding a senior executive to oversee sales, central marketing and global supply chain functions.

Beade arrives after more than 30 years in consumer packaged goods, most recently as president of SC Johnson Consumer Brands North America. Before that, he was chief executive officer of SC Johnson Lifestyle Brands. His career also includes senior roles at PepsiCo and Unilever.

The appointment gives Beade enterprise-wide responsibility for three core areas: sales, central marketing and supply chain. Newell said he will be charged with building the global structure, systems, technology, processes and talent to make those functions work more effectively and efficiently.

Chief Executive Officer Chris Peterson said the company has made “meaningful progress over the past several years,” citing portfolio simplification, supply chain improvements and changes to its go-to-market model. He said the new role is intended to support “sustainable, profitable growth.”

Beade said his focus will be on scaling the company’s commercial and supply chain functions “to work together with speed and agility.” Today the company's shares have moved -1.95% to a price of $5.54. If you want to know more, read the company's complete 8-K report here.
