Construction Partners said it completed the acquisition of S.E. Cline Construction, adding about 60 employees and a rail-served, permitted hot-mix asphalt plant site in Bunnell, Florida, to its Florida platform company, C.W. Roberts Contracting.
The deal expands the company’s footprint along Florida’s Interstate 95 corridor, following its acquisition of P&S Paving in Daytona Beach last year. Cline Construction, based in Palm Coast, brings site development and underground utility construction capabilities across northeast and central Florida.
The newly acquired business will be folded into C.W. Roberts, where it is expected to complement existing asphalt paving and construction operations in the greater Daytona Beach market. The Bunnell site gives Construction Partners an additional asset for vertical integration and future growth along Florida’s east coast. As a result of these announcements, the company's shares have moved -0.62% on the market, and are now trading at a price of $82.71.
