Alight said it will appoint Stephen A. Lasher as chief financial officer effective June 15, replacing the company’s prior finance leadership with a veteran who has more than 30 years of experience across services, technology and B2B businesses.
Lasher most recently served as executive vice president and CFO of Digital Turbine, where he oversaw worldwide financial operations. Before that, he was CFO of Vonage, where he helped drive revenue growth and execute strategic initiatives. Earlier in his career, he spent 24 years at IBM in senior finance roles, including vice president of finance for IBM Global Markets and Integrated Accounts, overseeing financial operations for IBM’s roughly $70 billion global sales organization.
Alight said the hire comes as it looks to strengthen financial performance and execution. The company serves more than 30 million people through benefits administration for health, wealth, leave and point solutions. As a result of these announcements, the company's shares have moved 10.04% on the market, and are now trading at a price of $0.7969.
