Alight names Stephen A. Lasher CFO

Alight said it will appoint Stephen A. Lasher as chief financial officer effective June 15, replacing the finance leadership role with a veteran who has spent more than 30 years in financial management across services, technology and B2B businesses.

Lasher most recently served as executive vice president and CFO of Digital Turbine, where he oversaw worldwide financial operations. Before that, he was CFO of Vonage, where he helped drive revenue growth and led financial operations. Earlier in his career, he spent 24 years at IBM in senior finance roles, including vice president of finance for IBM Global Markets and Integrated Accounts, where he was responsible for financial operations tied to an approximately $70 billion global sales organization.

Alight framed the hire as part of its next phase under CEO Rohit Verma, who said Lasher brings the “operating discipline and investor credibility” the company needs. Lasher said he plans to help strengthen financial performance and deliver long-term value for clients, colleagues and stockholders. Following these announcements, the company's shares moved 6.41%, and are now trading at a price of $0.7706. If you want to know more, read the company's complete 8-K report here.
