Booz Allen Hamilton completed its $720 million acquisition of Ultra I&C’s mission solutions business on Aug. 24, 2026, bringing in a portfolio centered on defense technology software, encryption and edge-compute products.
The deal expands Booz Allen’s technology stack in three key areas: AI-driven battle management, resilient communications and edge infrastructure. The company said the combination is aimed at helping warfighters connect, secure and deploy technology at the edge and across domains more quickly and at larger scale.
Ultra Mission Solutions will now sit inside Booz Allen’s defense technology business as the commercial product and solutions component, under President Steve Escaravage.
Booz Allen said the acquisition is intended to accelerate its defense tech product growth and broaden its reach with U.S. and allied customers.
