Bank7 Corp. agreed to acquire Century Financial Services Corp. in a deal that would expand the Oklahoma City lender into New Mexico and lift the combined company’s total assets to about $3.3 billion.
Under the merger agreement, Bank7 will buy 100% of Century’s common stock for a mix of $70 million in cash and 1,232,657 Bank7 shares. Based on Century’s 332,683 shares outstanding, that works out to $210.41 in cash and 3.7052 Bank7 shares for each Century share, implying a total transaction value of about $137.3 million using Bank7’s 10-day average closing price of $54.57 as of Sept. 16, 2026.
Century reported $1.36 billion in assets as of June 30, 2026, along with $1.23 billion in deposits and $845 million in gross loans. Bank7 said Century’s $1.2 billion legacy core deposit franchise would strengthen the combined company’s funding base.
The combined organization would add Century’s eight branches across New Mexico and two loan production offices in Dallas and Houston to Bank7’s existing 12 locations in Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas. Bank7 said it intends to keep the Century Bank name and brand.
Century is the second-largest bank headquartered in New Mexico and one of the last remaining independent banks based in the state. The company said the deal extends its footprint into New Mexico, with a focus on Santa Fe, and adds a contiguous market to its existing Southwest footprint.
The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026. As a result of these announcements, the company's shares have moved 1.27% on the market, and are now trading at a price of $55.06. For the full picture, make sure to review Bank7's 8-K report.
