(NASDAQ: AAON) has announced a new alignment in its executive leadership structure, aimed at better supporting the company’s strategic growth, streamlining processes, accelerating project delivery, and driving toward long-term stability. The realignment is centered around the company’s leading market brands, AAON and BASX.
Effective January 1, 2025, Stephen Wakefield has been appointed as the Executive Vice President & General Manager of the AAON products business unit, while Matt Shaub will take on the role of Executive Vice President & General Manager of the BASX products business unit. This move is expected to enable dedicated teams around engineering, product management, and customer care to respond quickly to market demands and focus efforts on innovation.
Stephen Wakefield, who has been with the company since 1999, will continue to build upon AAON’s focus on innovation, excellence, and customer-focused mindset. Matt Shaub, who joined AAON in January 2024, has led efforts to enhance product management strategies for existing and new products and solutions.
In addition to the new leadership roles for Wakefield and Shaub, other executive leadership alignments effective January 1, 2025, include Larry Honel leading the company’s global manufacturing efforts and overseeing site leadership at each location in Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Oregon, and Tennessee. Whitney Wakefield will lead manufacturing support functions, and Andrew Edmondson will continue to lead the sales and marketing teams.
