Champion Homes Appoints Tim Larson as New CEO

Champion Homes, Inc. (NYSE: SKY) has announced the implementation of a CEO succession plan, with Tim Larson being appointed as the new President, Chief Executive Officer, and a member of the board of directors, effective immediately. Larson succeeds Mark Yost in these roles, with Yost available as needed to support an orderly transition.

Larson, who joined Champion Homes in 2021 as the Chief Growth Officer, has been recognized for his role in leading the company's direct-to-consumer growth and brand transformation, as well as driving a customer-centric approach to the business. His leadership has been instrumental in developing and executing the company's digital direct-to-consumer strategy, expanding its retail footprint, and driving customer-centricity.

Under Yost's leadership, Champion Homes has seen significant progress. The company has more than 70 years of homebuilding experience and operates 48 manufacturing facilities throughout the United States and Western Canada, employing approximately 9,000 people. It has also expanded its retail presence to 72 locations across the United States.

Looking ahead, Larson aims to continue the company's growth trajectory, with a focus on expanding and elevating offsite built homes through customer-centric product and service innovation, in support of both homeowners and retailers.

As a leader, Larson brings a wealth of experience, having served in executive positions in the consumer products and manufacturing industries, including as CEO of Jostens, Inc. and CMO and Sr. Vice President of Global Customer Excellence at Polaris Industries.

Champion Homes builds homes under several well-known brand names in the factory-built housing industry, including Skyline Homes, Champion Homes, Genesis Homes, and others. The company also provides construction services to install and set up factory-built homes, operates a factory-direct retail business, and provides transportation services to the manufactured housing and other industries through Star Fleet Trucking.

The transition in leadership comes at a time when Champion Homes is focused on delivering solid results in its third quarter and capitalizing on new opportunities to unlock more value for its shareholders under Larson's leadership. Today the company's shares have moved -2.5% to a price of $105.37. For more information, read the company's full 8-K submission here.
