MGE Energy Boosts Dividend by 7.0%

MGE Energy has lifted its regular quarterly dividend by 7.0% to $0.5083 per share from the prior quarter’s level, pushing the annualized payout to $2.0332 per share.

The increase marks the company’s 51st straight year of dividend hikes and extends a streak of more than 110 consecutive years of cash dividends.

The new dividend will be paid Sept. 15, 2026, to shareholders of record on Sept. 1, 2026.

MGE Energy said its principal utility subsidiary serves 170,000 electricity customers in Dane County and distributes natural gas to 180,000 customers across seven south-central and western Wisconsin counties.
