Ecovyst Appoints New CFO, Shares Drop 2.49%

Ecovyst named Laurie Bergman chief financial officer effective Aug. 24, replacing Michael Feehan, who is leaving the company after the transition period ends Sept. 30.

Bergman, 49, comes to Ecovyst after serving as CFO of Legacy Food Group since July 2024. Before that, she was CFO of Liquid Environmental Solutions from June 2021 to June 2024, and earlier held senior finance roles at UGI Corp. from February 2019 to June 2021, including chief accounting officer, corporate controller and vice president of accounting.

She has also served on the boards of ARQ Inc. since June 2023, where she chairs the audit committee, and QNB Corp. since May 2020, where she is also a member of the audit committee.

Feehan will remain with Ecovyst through Sept. 30 to help hand off duties to Bergman. The company did not disclose any financial terms tied to the leadership change. Today the company's shares have moved -2.49% to a price of $10.18. For more information, read the company's full 8-K submission here.
