Bio-Techne ended fiscal 2026 with fourth-quarter revenue of $321.2 million, up 1% from a year earlier and 3% on an organic basis. For the full year, revenue was flat at about $1.2 billion, with organic revenue also unchanged from fiscal 2025.
Fourth-quarter GAAP earnings per share rose to $0.35 from a loss of $0.11 a year ago. GAAP operating income swung to $74.3 million from an operating loss of $23.9 million, and operating margin improved to 23.1% from negative 7.5%.
Adjusted EPS slipped to $0.52 from $0.53 in the prior-year quarter, while adjusted operating income edged up to $103.4 million from $101.3 million. Adjusted operating margin held nearly steady at 32.2%, compared with 32.0% a year earlier.
For the full year, GAAP EPS climbed to $1.16 from $0.46, and GAAP operating income jumped 146% to $251.9 million from $102.3 million. GAAP operating margin widened to 20.7% from 8.4%.
Adjusted full-year EPS increased slightly to $1.93 from $1.92. Adjusted operating income rose 1% to $386.1 million from $383.6 million.
By segment, Protein Sciences posted fourth-quarter sales of $231.2 million, up 2% from $226.5 million, with organic revenue up 1%. Segment operating margin narrowed to 42.0% from 43.6%.
Diagnostics and Spatial Biology had fourth-quarter sales of $90.1 million, essentially flat versus $89.7 million a year earlier. Organic revenue rose 8%, and operating margin improved to 11.2% from 6.0%.
For the full year, Protein Sciences revenue increased 1% to $874.6 million, while Diagnostics and Spatial Biology revenue fell 3% to $336.4 million. Protein Sciences operating margin declined to 41.1% from 42.6%, while Diagnostics and Spatial Biology margin improved to 11.2% from 6.2%.
