Tesla Reports 4% Increase in Vehicle Production and Deliveries

Tesla has reported its first quarter production, delivery, and energy storage deployment figures for 2025. The company produced over 362,000 vehicles, marking a 4% increase from the previous period. Deliveries also increased by 4%, totaling over 336,000 vehicles. Additionally, Tesla deployed 10.4 GWh of energy storage products during the quarter. The production and delivery numbers were impacted by the changeover of Model Y lines across all four factories, which led to the loss of several weeks of production. However, the ramp of the new Model Y continues to progress well. The company will release its financial results for the first quarter of 2025 after market close on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
