Wiley, a leading research and education company, has announced a change in its financial leadership. Christina Van Tassell, the current CFO, will be departing the company on October 1, 2024. Christopher Caridi, the Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer, will assume the role of Interim Chief Financial Officer, effective September 18, 2024, until a permanent replacement is found.

Wiley has recently reported robust revenue and earnings growth for Q1 and has reaffirmed its Fiscal 2025 outlook and Fiscal 2026 targets. The company is focused on driving further operating efficiency, margin expansion, and cash flow growth, while also reinvesting in its Research and Learning core and GenAI growth opportunities.

Christina Van Tassell, who joined the company in November 2021, has played a significant role in steering the organization through a period of marked change, including divestitures and value creation plans.

It's important to note that Wiley's leadership has expressed confidence in the seamless transition and thanked Van Tassell for her service and contributions.
