Leidos, a Fortune 500 innovation company, has appointed Tina Jonas to its board of directors, effective September 25, 2024. Jonas will also join the board’s audit and finance committee. She brings extensive defense and aerospace leadership experience in both government and industry, with a background including transformational leadership, strategy and planning, business development, operations, finance, and technology deployment.
Jonas has more than 20 years of experience in the federal government, including serving in top roles at key agencies and in the commercial sector. She has held executive positions in the aerospace and defense industry, including at United Technologies, Sikorsky Aircraft, and UnitedHealth Group Incorporated. Jonas also serves on the board of Virgin Galactic Holdings, Inc. and Centrus Energy Corporation, and has previously served on several other boards including Airbus Group North America and The Aerospace Corporation.
Leidos reported annual revenues of approximately $15.4 billion for the fiscal year ended December 29, 2023. As a result of these announcements, the company's shares have moved 1.5% on the market, and are now trading at a price of $156.04.
