Chemours, a global leader in performance chemistry, has appointed Joseph Kava to its board of directors, bringing three decades of experience from leading technology companies. Kava, who currently serves as the Vice President of Data Centers at Google, has overseen the sustainability and efficiency of Google's global fleet of data centers. Prior to his role at Google, Kava served as the Chief Operating Officer at RagingWire Enterprise Solutions and spent 17 years in the semiconductor industry.
Chemours expressed that Kava's expertise in technology, sustainability, innovation, operations, and new product introductions will be valuable as the company continues to advance its business strategy. This is particularly relevant as many of Chemours' products are critical to artificial intelligence and high-performance computing, notably in data center cooling.
