HP Enterprise Appoints David Goulden to Board

Hewlett Packard Enterprise said July 24, 2026 it appointed David Goulden to its board of directors, effective immediately, adding a veteran finance executive with more than 35 years of experience at global technology companies.

Goulden will join HPE’s finance & investment committee and HR & compensation committee. He most recently served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Booking Holdings, where he oversaw the finances of the parent company of Booking.com, Priceline and Kayak.

Before Booking Holdings, Goulden spent more than 10 years in senior leadership roles at EMC, where he was chief financial officer, chief operating officer and chief executive officer of EMC’s information infrastructure business. He also helped manage integration work after Dell Technologies’ acquisition of EMC in 2016, then served as president of the combined company’s infrastructure solutions group, which included storage, server and networking businesses.

HPE Chair Pat Russo said Goulden brings experience in enterprise technology, finance, operations and M&A. HPE CEO Antonio Neri said the company is focused on networking, cloud and AI solutions and expects to benefit from Goulden’s perspective as it continues executing its strategy.

Goulden also previously served on VMware’s board, where he sat on the audit and mergers & acquisitions committees. Following these announcements, the company's shares moved 0.48%, and are now trading at a price of $47.87. For the full picture, make sure to review Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co's 8-K report.
