Deluxe (NYSE: DLX) has announced the election of Morgan M. “Mac” Schuessler to its Board of Directors. Schuessler brings more than three decades of experience in the payments and financial technology industries, including his current position as Chief Executive Officer, President, and director of Evertec Group, a position he has held since 2015. He previously served as the President, International, at Global Payments between 2005 and 2014 and held multiple leadership positions with American Express Corporate Services.
Deluxe President and CEO Barry McCarthy has expressed his pleasure in adding Schuessler to the board, stating that his experience and industry depth will support the company's accelerating payments business growth.
Meanwhile, Cheryl Mayberry McKissack, Chair of the Deluxe Board of Directors, has praised Schuessler's wealth of knowledge and experience in the payments space.
